Dear Staff

We wanted you to know that Chrissie (cat aged 19) has settled in at our home and seems to be enjoying her food, as well as the peace and quiet of her own room.  At first, she ignored all the comfortable beds we’d provided at various points around the room, and chose to sleep under the armchair (on a piece of Vet-bed), but she is gradually venturing out a bit; I even caught her having a short stroll across the room last night - progress!

Thank you for entrusting her to our care.  We’ll do our best to make sure she enjoys whatever time she has left, and of course, we hope she’ll be with us for some time yet.

We’d also like to say how heart-warming it was to see how well your animals are cared for.  We were very impressed by the high standard of care and genuine concern shown by staff and volunteers.

So, on Chrissie’s behalf, thank you all for rescuing an elderly cat who had lost her home and family.
